Agency Pilot — $499

AI visibility · AI search monitoring

Find the buyer questions where AI recommends your competitors instead of you.

Your buyers ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity before they ask you. We measure the questions that actually precede a purchase, show you which ones a competitor is winning, and give you the citation evidence behind each answer.

Most AI visibility tools count mentions. That is not the question you need answered.

Knowing you appeared in 43% of a hundred prompts does not tell you whether you lost a deal. Knowing that "what is the best dynamic QR code generator for a small shop" returns three competitors and not you — on all three engines — does.

1. Measure

10–20 buyer questions per brand, sent to ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. Every raw answer is kept.

2. Prioritise

Questions ranked by what was measured: a competitor holding the answer on every engine outranks one holding it on a single engine.

3. Diagnose

Which competitors were named, which sources the answers cited, and whether you were absent or merely not recommended.

4. Act

Each finding restated as the change it implies, with the evidence attached. No invented ROI numbers.

5. Prove

Re-run the same frozen question set later and compare. A snapshot is not evidence that something worked.

What we are still proving. That buyer-intent prioritisation beats generic visibility tracking is our working hypothesis, not a settled finding. We think measuring the questions that precede a purchase is more useful than counting mentions across a large prompt list — but we are testing that with paying customers, not asserting it. We have no case studies yet, and we will not invent any.

Three states, not one score

An AI answer puts your brand in one of three positions, and they need completely different responses:

What was measuredWhat it meansWhat it points to
Absent, competitor namedYou were not in the answer at all, and someone else was.You are not in the consideration set for that question.
Present, not recommendedYou were mentioned but not endorsed.Awareness is not the blocker. The comparative case is.
CitedA page of yours was used as a source.Your own content is already shaping the answer.

A single visibility percentage collapses all three into one number and hides which one you are dealing with.

What we actually measure

Every result comes from the official OpenAI, Google Gemini and Perplexity APIs with web search or grounding enabled. In our data those surfaces are recorded as openai_api_web_search, gemini_api_google_search and perplexity_api_sonar, and reports name them explicitly.

That is not the same thing as a logged-in person using the ChatGPT app. These are official interfaces with web search on, but they are measurement surfaces rather than consumer sessions: no personalisation, no memory, no app-only features. Results can differ from what any individual user sees, and we do not claim the two are identical. We would rather put that on the pricing page than in the small print.

Common questions

Which AI assistants do you measure?

ChatGPT (via the OpenAI API with web search), Google Gemini (with Google Search grounding) and Perplexity. Results are reported per engine, never blended into a single "AI" number.

Do you measure the consumer ChatGPT app?

No. We measure the OpenAI API with web search enabled. That is an OpenAI measurement surface, not a logged-in consumer ChatGPT session, so results can differ from what an individual user sees in ChatGPT. Every report discloses the measurement surface.

How is this different from counting brand mentions?

We start from the questions a buyer asks before choosing a vendor, and report which of those questions a competitor wins. Mention volume is shown, but it is not what we treat as the value.

What do I get in a pilot?

A founder-reviewed audit of 10 to 20 buyer questions per brand across three engines, with the recommendation status, the citation evidence, the competitors named instead of you, and a prioritised list of what to address. Plus a walkthrough call.
